Beauregard Arc Seeks to Hire an executive Director. 

The Beauregard Arc (BArc) is accepting resumes for the position of Executive Director.

The Executive Director is the key management leader of the BArc. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

A new Director will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our organization, ensuring that our clients with disabilities are provided the continuing exceptional care.

Beauregard Arc is a Louisiana licensed day program provider and has provided services to the developmentally disabled since 1963. The BArc provides jobs, work training and life skills training for intellectual and developmentally disabled adults.


Responsible for working with the Board fundraising and developing other revenues necessary to support BArc’s mission.

Responsible for the fiscal integrity of BArc, to include submission to the Board of a proposed annual budget and monthly financial statements, which accurately reflect the financial condition of the organization.

Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization, and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position.

Be responsible for compliance with all regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to home and community-base service providers.

Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff and the citizens we serve.

Grant writing and fundraising skills preferred.

Must have organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation. Management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making and communication skills necessary.

Professional Qualifications Needed

Administrator shall be a resident of Louisiana and shall meet the following requirements:

Have a bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of four years of verifiable experience working in a field providing services to the elderly and/or persons with developmental disabilities.

Any person convicted of a felony as defined in the Home and Community based long-term care services (HCBS) provisions is prohibited from serving as an administrator of this agency.

Pass company background check.

Must have an acceptable driving record within company insurance guidelines.

Quilt Raffle May 8, 2020

Beauregard Arc announces our newest fundraiser, a quilt raffle to be given away on May 8, 2020 just in time for Mother's Day. This one of a kind quilt measures 59x 76 1/2 inches and is embroidered and custom quilted. The quilt comes with a matching throw pillow. 

This quilt was donated to the organization by local quilter Frances Caillouet, a 47 year professional seamstress and quilter. 

All proceeds are going to go to updating current programs.

BArc Day Activities participants, were invited to decorate a tree in Beauregard Health Systems recent tree decorating contest. the particpants placed 2nd in the contest winning $250.00 for their efforts. Congratulations to all of the winners and our participants.
